Each year there is the Coachella Valley festival, which makes it very difficult to find a hotel anywhere around, and is an hour from the home. Going out West There is an off-road competition called, "Hammer of the Gods", where all dirt bikes, off-road trucks, and dune buggies meet to compete for the title, "Hammer of the Gods". It's a huge competition and it's about 25 minutes from the home. Standing in the front yard there is a 360° View of Yucca Valley, Joshua tree, 29 Palms and the Morongo Basin. Yucca Valley and surrounding areas have magnificent sunrises and sunsets.
